Mission and Vision

Starting in Gede and Watamu in eastern Kenya, our vision is to provide an environment where every child has access to education, regardless of their background or circumstance.

Education plays a vital role in lifting children out of poverty. Through access to schooling, we aim to provide the skills, knowledge and empowerment necessary for young people born into extreme poverty to achieve long-term social and economic well-being.

We work in partnership with local communities, schools and families to strengthen learning outcomes and support positive, lasting change.

Education

We are dedicated to improving the lives of children in Gede, Kilifi through education and providing practical support through home visits and liaising with schools. Our mission is to empower these children through education and community development initiatives such as progressing onto higher or vocational education.

Community

Through our various programmes, including face-to-face meetings with local leaders we help identify families most in need, and by using a full-time education coordinator, we help families access suitable education. This has made a significant difference to their lives and the wider community.

Sustainability

By supporting children through access to education, we aim to create long-term change that extends beyond the individual, positively impacting families and future generations. Education empowers children as they grow, improving life opportunities and breaking cycles of disadvantage. Through sustainable sponsorship and community-led support, we are helping to build stronger, more resilient communities that can thrive independently over time.

The Future

Join us in making a difference. Our aim is to secure sponsors who can support a child throughout their educational programme. We welcome donations and sponsorship of all kinds; however, we particularly value long-term, regular support, which allows us to plan sustainably and maximise impact. As a minimum, sponsors will receive annual progress reports on the child they are supporting.
